HTC One Google Edition coming soon, tweets serial leaker

One of the most popular devices this year, the HTC One has received great reviews for its exquisite design and the attention to detail in the build quality. However, there are more than a few critics of the Sense UI and the outdated Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Making things worse for HTC, Samsung’s Galaxy S4 will soon be available without the TouchWiz software overlay.

Naturally, HTC One fans would be cursing Google for going with Samsung for the Google Edition S4 running stock Android. But serial HTC smartphone leaker @LlabTooFeR has revealed that a pure Android HTC One is also in the works.


If you recall, LlabTooFeR also revealed information about the HTC First, before such a phone was known to be in the works and also leaked the specs of the HTC M4 or the HTC One Mini, which is supposedly a budget edition of the flagship. Despite his track record of leaking information about unreleased HTC phones, we would advise you to take the news about a “Senseless” HTC One with a grain of salt.

LlabTooFeR preferred to call it a “Senseless” HTC One and says that he knows it for a fact that such a phone will be announced soon.
